iPhone 4s Battery Life?: Apple Support Communities

New phone - 4s, 16g, black, AT&T mail order. FIRST charge was overnight. Battery results after FIRST 48 hours: 8.5 hrs use - wifi, maps/traffic, stocks, email, ...

Co-worker with early same settings and same phone is saying 2 hours use, and less than 8 hours standby before dying. What's different? My old iPhone 3G had similar battery life - changing email polling, turning off wifi when in the field, dumping POP mail and moving to exchange, and being in range of a decent cell signal mare all the difference in the world. I'll keep tracking my time and settings... and see if our office can see why some have much better times than others. I have had my iPhone 64gb 4s (My first ever Apple product) for less than a week.
